Disney buys out Lucasfilm Ltd. (STAR WARS), and will be creating episode 7 in movies theater by 2015.

Episodes 8 & 9 are also coming in the near future, and I should also add its been mentioned that the clone wars cartoon series on CN mite be moving to the Disney channel.

Keanu Reeves has shown personal interest in the cowboy bebop anime series and the possible live action release which he will be starring in. Keanu Reeves will be staring as spike if this 500 million dollar script ever gets accepted that is.

The official website for the One Piece anime films was revamped on Saturday with a teaser trailer for this year's film, One Piece Film Z.

BLEACH Anime Series To End March 27th, Manga Starts It's Final Arc. (what that means for bleach fans is that the anime series will be finished on march 27th while the manga is whats left)

Kodansha's Comic Plus members confirmed that a film adaptation of Hajime Isayama's Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan) manga will open in Fall of 2013.

If there's anything that anime fans love to do, it's to argue about anime.

Merely proving the point, Japanese website biglobe recently published a top 50 list of the most overrated anime series of all time. The results were culled from a poll of 33,000 votes. While beloved titles like "Neon Genesis Evangelion," "Bleach" and "Naruto" made the list, as expected, they did not rank in the top 10.
